The Collection was started by a nationally acclaimed book, The Golden Years…The Florida Legislature, ‘70s and ‘80s (Sentry Press, 2007; 2nd edition, 2008) written by former Florida State Senator Robert W. McKnight. Information on the book; the author; book reviews and television interviews; and the opportunity to order a signed copy of the book, is provided through the Book tab.

To meet the increasing public interest in Florida’s “Golden” political era, the author has produced an ongoing, interactive Blog for interested readers, which is also available under a tab of this web site. Prominent lawmakers and lobbyists identified in the book are highlighted in an ongoing and interactive tab, called Quorum Call.
